Introduction to the 330,000 broiler cage farm

The project is designed to house 330,000 broilers, with a market weight of 2.4 kg, and produce 6.5 batches annually, for a total of approximately 2.1 million broilers.

The caged broiler equipment primarily consists of 10 systems: cages, lighting, water, feeding, manure removal, catching, ventilation, heating, spray humidification, and automatic control. These systems are provided by Qingdao Puhui Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Company.

Chicken Cages
1. Each chicken house has five rows of cages, four layers per row, and 25 cells per layer, divided in the middle (13 cells on the left and 12 on the right).
2. Each cell has a LxWxH dimension of 2960 x 1800 x 765 mm. The bottom has eight plastic Slatted Floor Panels, each with a LxWxH dimension of 705 x 870 x 50 mm and a weight of 1.9 kg.
Watering Lines
1. Two watering lines per cell.
2. Six water cups per watering line, for a total of 12 cups.

Feed Lines
1. One feed line per cell;
2. Two feed trays per feed line;
3. One feed auger per cage level, with a sensor on the motor-end feed pipe;
4. Two 19.5-ton feed silos per house;
5. Feeding is by bulk truck;
6. Two feed augers feed the house;
7. 20 feed auger outlets in the house, with weighing devices at the transition points between the two augers.

Manure Removal System
1. One manure conveyor belt per cage level (later to be used as a chicken conveyor belt);
2. Each manure conveyor belt has a manure scraper on one side of the belt drive;
3. Manure on all manure conveyor belts falls into a manure auger (L = 17m, Φ250mm), where it is then transported outside the house via the manure conveyor belt (12.8m).
Chicken Catching System
1. One elevator;
2. One chicken discharge belt (L = 21m, W = 560mm);
3. One roller (L = 5m);

Lighting
1. One LED light per unit;

Ventilation System - Fans
1. 17 50" fans on the gable wall;
2. 2 50" fans on each side wall;
3. 3 36" fans on each side wall;
4. 1 DA600 variable frequency fan on each side wall;

Ventilation System - Large Air Dampers
The three front walls of the chicken house are equipped with large air dampers, each with three layers. The front has three layers of 12m x 0.75m large air dampers, and the left and right sides have three layers of (5.7m + 3.3m) x 0.75m large air dampers. Each large air damper is driven by an independent motor.
2. Primarily used for summer cooling.
Ventilation System - Small Air Dampers
1. 119 small air dampers are located on both sides of the side walls, divided into front and rear sections from the center of the chicken house. They are controlled by motors at the front and rear ends.
2. Primarily used for winter air intake to prevent excessive airflow and a significant drop in temperature.

Water Curtains/Poultry Cooling Pad
1. The three front walls of the chicken coop are equipped with water curtains, two layers on each wall. The front has two 12m x 1.8m water curtains, and the left and right sides have two 9m x 0.75m water curtains. Each curtain has its own independent water pump for humidification.
2. Primarily used for summer cooling.

Heating System - Boiler Hot Water
1. Two heating pipes are located on each side of the chicken house, divided into front and rear ends. Each of the four heating pipes has its own independent circulation system, totaling 80 meters.
2. This system is primarily used to increase the temperature of the chicken house when the temperature is low, ensuring the house reaches a normal temperature for chicken farming.
Heating System - Gas Furnace
1. Four 95kW gas furnaces equipped with four axial fans.
2. This system is primarily used for emergency heating of the chicken house.

Heating System - Ceiling Fans
1. Four rows of ceiling fans are located above the central aisle of the chicken house, dividing the house into front and rear sections. The front and rear sections have independent control systems.
2. The ceiling fan speed is adjustable.
3. They are primarily used to mix the air within the chicken house to ensure consistent temperatures throughout the entire house.
Heating System - Circulation Fans
1. Four fans are located in each chicken house, located on both sides of the aisle.
2. They are used to circulate heat from the gas furnace.

Environmental Control System
1. 8 chicken scales, located in different locations within the chicken cages, primarily used for randomly weighing the chickens;
2. 8 sets of temperature pipe inserters;
3. 2 sets of humidity sensors;
4. 1 set of CO2 sensors;
5. 2 sets of outdoor temperature probes
