Puhui Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Pig Farm Design Institute assembled a multidisciplinary team at the outset of the project to comprehensively examine Hunan's climate, topographical conditions, and farming traditions, formulating the overall concept of "locally tailored design, zoning management, and closed-loop operation." This original breeder pig farm has innovatively established a "three-level protection zone" system:
Outer isolation zone: Utilizing natural terrain and artificial barriers, the farm area is physically isolated. A strict disinfection, quarantine, and testing process is implemented for personnel and supplies entering the farm.
Middle production and management zone: The pregnant, farrowing, nursery, and finishing pens are strategically planned, operating independently in phases and units to prevent cross-zone contamination.
Inner pens: Independent Ventilation Systems and immediate manure treatment systems are used throughout the farm to ensure a stable and controllable microenvironment.
In addition, the farm fully utilizes the patented Muyuan ventilation system, enabling precise control of air speed, direction, and humidity. This not only significantly improves air quality but also structurally blocks aerosol transmission pathways, significantly reducing the risk of epidemics.

Independent drinking and feeding system: Each sow is equipped with its own drinking and feeding system, combined with contactless sensor feeding, significantly reducing the potential for disease transmission between groups. Emergency isolation pens are installed in each unit to ensure early detection, isolation, and treatment of suspected cases.
Air treatment and waste management: A custom-developed horizontal spray air purification system effectively eliminates interference between exhaust gas and external airflow. The sewage ducts feature rainwater and sewage separation and a gradient design, with raised water barriers to completely eliminate sewage backflow.
Intelligent cleaning and disinfection system: Automated cleaning and disinfection equipment is installed throughout the facility, including a vehicle wash center, shower systems for personnel passages, and fumigation devices for material transfer, ensuring control and traceability at all entry points.
